About GBall
G-Ball was formed in 2017 by Clyde Best and Josef Gooden in association with a few football agencies in England. They had the vision to produce a program which will assist young men in fulfilling their dreams of playing football at a professional level. They set out to mentor young men, and faciliate the process of getting into football academies or schools to hopefully produce the next Clyde Best.
G-Ball would like to see as many Bermudians as possible overseas in schools or playing in club level football. This will aid in the enhancement of the overall football product for Bermuda. In the longterm, GBall would like to formalize its own academy in England. We hope to see this come to fruition by the year 2030. GBall is also currently in Ghana and Jamaica, giving others the opportunity for professional level football and higher education.

Clyde Best
OWNER/HEAD COACH
Clyde Best played senior football as early as 16 years old. He then went on to play professional football in Europe and North America. He more recently served as Bermuda’s Technical Director and was inducted into Bermuda’s Hall of Fame.
JOSEF GOoden
OWNER/HEAD COACH
Josef Gooden is a former player with over 40 years of coaching experience. He is the former coach for Bermuda’s National Squad for both Under 14 and Under 16 age groups. He also holds many international licenses.
